Andrea Simoncini

Andrea Simoncini è professore ordinario di Diritto costituzionale e Direttore del Dipartimento di Scienze Giuridiche dell'Università di Firenze. Insegna Diritto Costituzionale, Constitutional Law of Technology e Rights and Rules for Artificial Intelligence presso la Scuola di Giurisprudenza e la Scuola di Ingegneria. È stato "Fulbright Distinguished Fellow" presso la Notre Dame Law School (USA) e visiting professor al Nanovic Institute for European Studies. Attualmente è Permanent Research Fellow presso il Center for Ethics and Culture dell’Università di Notre Dame. Il suo principale interesse di ricerca è legato alle nuove sfide per il diritto costituzionale italiano ed europeo; in particolare, si è dedicato al tema delle nuove tecnologie emergenti e dell’impatto dell’ Intelligenza Artificiale sulle libertà costituzionali.

Andrea Simoncini is Full Professor of Constitutional Law and Director of the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Florence. He teaches Constitutional Law, Constitutional Law of Technology and Rights and Rules for Artificial Intelligence at the School of Law and the School of Engineering. He was "Fulbright Distinguished Fellow" at the Notre Dame Law School (USA) and visiting professor at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. He is currently a Permanent Research Fellow at the Center for Ethics and Culture of the University of Notre Dame. His main research interest is related to the new challenges for Italian and European constitutional law; in particular, he dedicated himself to the topic of new emerging technologies and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on constitutional freedoms.
