Paolo Manghi

Paolo Manghi è (PhD) ricercatore in informatica presso l'Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie dell'Informazione (ISTI) del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), a Pisa, Italia. È direttore tecnico dell'infrastruttura OpenAIRE, direttore tecnico e ricercatore per i progetti infrastrutturali UE-H2020 OpenAIRE2020, SoBigData.eu, PARTHENOS, EOSCpilot, Data4Impact, OpenUP, eInfraCentral e RDA Europe, ed è il coordinatore del progetto OpenAIRE-Connect. È membro attivo di un certo numero di gruppi di lavoro di Data Citation e Data Publishing della Research Data Alliance; membro invitato dei comitati consultivi del progetto CE e dell'iniziativa Oggetto di ricerca. Le sue aree di interesse sono oggi le infrastrutture di dati per la comunicazione scientifica e accademica, con particolare attenzione alle tecnologie che supportano l'open science publishing, ossia la riproducibilità computazionale e la valutazione trasparente della scienza.

Paolo Manghi is a (PhD) Researcher in computer science at Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie dell'Informazione (ISTI) of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), in Pisa, Italy. He is the technical director of the OpenAIRE infrastructure, technical manager and researcher for the EU-H2020 infrastructure projects OpenAIRE2020, SoBigData.eu, PARTHENOS, EOSCpilot, Data4Impact, OpenUP, eInfraCentral, and RDA Europe, and he is the coordinator of the OpenAIRE-Connect project. He is active member of a number of Data Citation and Data Publishing Working groups of the Research Data Alliance; and invited member of the advisory boards of EC project and the Research Object initiative. His research areas of interest are today data e-infrastructures for science and scholarly communication infrastructures, with a focus on technologies supporting open science publishing, i.e. computational reproducibility and transparent evaluation of science.
