THE GARR WORKSHOP

Since the beginning of GARR history, the technical workshop has been an important meeting for experts in networking in the research and education community: an opportunity to receive professional updates and discuss about the trend topics of this domain.

A key topic of the program will be the new GARR-T network, but we will address many other issues together with community experts including the evolution of access infrastructures (LAN), security and identity, integration and support for HPC computing infrastructures, cloud and edge computing, data lakes and many applications and services to support the evolving needs of institutions, researchers, teachers and students.

Artificial intelligence in medicine from genomic to personalize medicine

In recent years, the development of AI, the increased access to powerful computers, and the large accumulation of data have resulted in great advances in the field of radiology and diagnostic imaging. Biological data and imaging could be integrated in complex models for providing useful information for improving prediction and management of patients. Here we present our experience of development artificial intelligence models for precision medicine in the context of tumor disease using cloud platform.
