Since the beginning of GARR history, the technical workshop has been an important meeting for experts in networking in the research and education community: an opportunity to receive professional updates and discuss about the trend topics of this domain.

A key topic of the program will be the new GARR-T network, but we will address many other issues together with community experts including the evolution of access infrastructures (LAN), security and identity, integration and support for HPC computing infrastructures, cloud and edge computing, data lakes and many applications and services to support the evolving needs of institutions, researchers, teachers and students.

Paola Belmonte

Paola Belmonte ha studiato Ingegneria Informatica al Politecnico di Torino e lavora presso lo stesso Ateneo nell'Area Information Technology, Servizio Infrastrutture. Tra le diverse attività, si occupa di servizi di virtualizzazione basati su VMware e recentemente è stata coinvolta nel progetto OpenStack.

Paola Belmonte studied Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino and works at the same University in the Information Technology Area, Infrastructure Service. Among the various activities, she is in charge of virtualization services based on VMware and has recently been involved in the OpenStack project.
