THE GARR WORKSHOP

Since the beginning of GARR history, the technical workshop has been an important meeting for experts in networking in the research and education community: an opportunity to receive professional updates and discuss about the trend topics of this domain.

A key topic of the program will be the new GARR-T network, but we will address many other issues together with community experts including the evolution of access infrastructures (LAN), security and identity, integration and support for HPC computing infrastructures, cloud and edge computing, data lakes and many applications and services to support the evolving needs of institutions, researchers, teachers and students.

Challenges and Opportunities of Astrophysics Services on the GARR Cloud: NEANIAS and Integration into EOSC

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) aims to create a federated environment for sharing and processing research data to support an Open Science community of practice. This work presents the activities related to the implementation of services, integrated into the GARR cloud, towards addressing the challenges of the astrophysics user communities needs for data management, mapping and detection of structures in large scale multidimensional maps.
