Nicla Diomede è il CISO dell’Università degli Studi di Milano dove guida la struttura d “Cybersecurity, protezione dati e conformità”. E’ laureata in Scienze dell’informazione con master in IT presso il Cefriel-Politecnico e diversi corsi di specializzazione post laurea in Privacy e GDPR, Data Governance, Digital investigations, forensics and cybersecurity. Ha iniziato la sua carriera nel contesto del networking dove ha progettato e coordinato i progetti di innovazione della rete di Ateneo, partecipando anche al progetto della rete nazionale Garr-G (2002) e al progetto europeo 6net. Sin dal 2000, si occupa di cybersecurity, contribuendo in modo significativo alla nascita e all’organizzazione dell’IRT e del SOC dell’Università di Milano, divenuti un punto di riferimento per la comunità accademica nazionale. Ha svolto esperienze internazionali in programmi di studio e ricerca nell’ambito dell’IT, del networking e in cybersecurity presso università e laboratori di R&D dei principali leader di tecnologia in USA.

Nicla Diomede is the CISO of the University of Milan where she leads the "Cybersecurity, data protection and compliance" structure. She graduated in Computer Science with a master's in IT from Cefriel-Politecnico and several post-graduate specialisation courses in Privacy and GDPR, Data Governance, Digital investigations, forensics and cybersecurity. She began her career in the networking context where she designed and coordinated the innovation projects of the University network, also participating in the national network project Garr-G (2002) and the European project 6net. Since 2000, she has been involved in cybersecurity, contributing significantly to the birth and organisation of the CSIRT and SOC of the University of Milan, which have become a point of reference for the national academic community. He has had international experience in study and research programs in IT, networking and cybersecurity at universities and R&D laboratories of the leading technology leaders in the USA.
