Laureato in informatica incontra GARR nel 2013 e durante la sua tesi di laurea sulla comparazione di diversi sistemi di gestione dei metadata per le federazioni di identità, sviluppa gli HOWTO di installazione e di configurazione dei principali elementi coinvolti nell'accesso federato. Dal 2013, subito dopo la Laurea, viene coinvolto nel progetto IdP-in-the-Cloud, per gli istituti di ricovero e cura a carattere scientifico, con cui amministrerà più di 30 istituti diversi grazie a Puppet prima e ad Ansible poi. Nel 2018 viene nominato Operatore del Servizio IDEM GARR AAI, in quanto specialista di indentità digitali e sistemi di autenticazione e autorizzazione. A livello europeo è lo sviluppatore principale dello strumento eduGAIN Connectivity Check Service con il quale viene monitorato il corretto funzionamento dell'interfederazione eduGAIN. Il suo motto è: "Uso il tempo che non ho per fare e dare il meglio che posso."

Graduated in Computer Science, Malavolti meets GARR in 2013 and during his graduate thesis on the comparison of different metadata management systems for identity federations, he develops the HOWTOs for installation and configuration of the main elements involved in the federated access. Since 2013, right after his graduation, he is involved in the IdP-in-the-Cloud, project for scientific hospitalisation and care institutions, with which he will administer more than 30 different institutions thanks to Puppet first and Ansible later. In 2018 he is appointed IDEM GARR AAI Service Operator, as a specialist in digital identities and authentication and authorization systems. At the European level, he is the main developer of the eduGAIN Connectivity Check Service tool with which the proper functioning of eduGAIN interworking is monitored. His motto is, "I use the time I don't have to do and give the best I can."
