Ho iniziato a lavorare per GARR nel 2003 dopo un dottorato di ricerca in Fisica e diversi anni come ricercatrice in esperimenti di fisica delle alte energie al CERN e allo SLAC. In GARR ho inizialmente progettato e sviluppato il Sistema Informativo di rete. Successivamente, quando GARR ha implementato la sua prima rete DWDM, sono entrato a far parte del team di progettazione della rete ottica, lavorando attivamente alla progettazione e implementazione di GARR-X, GARR-X Progress, all'introduzione della tecnica delle lunghezze d'onda aliene e, ultimamente, alla progettazione di la nuova rete di trasporto ottico del progetto GARR-T e la sua evoluzione.

I started working for the Italian Research and Education Network (GARR) in 2003 after a PhD in Physics and several years as researcher in High Energy Physics experiments at CERN and SLAC. In GARR, at first I designed and developed the network Information System. Then, when GARR implemented its first DWDM network, I joined the optical network design team, actively working on the design and implementation of GARR-X, GARR-X Progress, on the introduction of alien wavelengths technique and, lately, on the design of the new optical transport network of the GARR-T project and its evolution.
