IDEM-Tester: challange your metadata
Filippo Landini si è laureato in Astrofisica e Fisica dello Spazio all'università di Milano-Bicocca. Le esperienze di simulazioni di sistemi dinamici coltivate nel suo corso di studi e la sua curiosità verso il mondo dell'ICT l'hanno portato a candidarsi alla prima edizione della GARR Academy, a seguito della quale è entrato a fare parte del team DevOps di GARR.
Filippo Landini graduated in Astrophysics and Space Physics at the University of Milano-Bicocca. His experiences in dynamical systems simulations cultivated during his studies and his curiosity towards the world of ICT led him to apply for the first edition of the GARR Academy, following which he joined GARR's DevOps team.
ABSTRACT
IDEM-Tester è un'applicazione web che mira a facilitare l'adesione alla Federazione Italiana delle Identità Digitali, mantenendo alta la qualità dei metadati nel tempo. Il servizio analizza il codice XML dei metadati ed evidenzia il rispetto dei requisiti indicati dal Servizio IDEM nel Profilo Tecnico Operativo, restituendo un resoconto dettagliato dei controlli effettuati. L'automazione introdotta da IDEM-Tester consente un notevole risparmio di tempo per Enti, Partner e per il Servizio IDEM stesso, contribuendo così a semplificare l'ingresso alla Federazione IDEM. Durante l'intervento mostreremo un prototipo del servizio.
IDEM-Tester is a web application that aims to facilitate membership in the Italian Federation of Digital Identities, keeping the quality of metadata high over time. The service analyzes the XML code of the metadata and highlights compliance with the requirements specified by the IDEM Service in the Technical Operating Profile, returning a detailed report of the checks performed. The automation introduced by IDEM-Tester saves considerable time for Entities, Partners, and the IDEM Service itself, thus helping to simplify entry to the IDEM Federation. In this talk we will show a prototype of the service.
